Abstract
The present work deals with a model of hydrogen-oxygen electrochemical cell with a sintered carbon cathode containing a silver catalyst in an alkaline medium. The discharge curves of the cell connected to a variable discharge resistance were measured; their analysis based on a theory of the model cell yielded information about the electrode kinetic parameters.
